Caledonia Offshore Wind Farm is holding a series of public consultation events across Aberdeenshire, Moray and the Highlands to gather feedback on the project’s onshore and offshore proposals.
The proposed 2GW Caledonia Offshore Wind Farm will be situated 40km off the Moray Firth coast. Electricity transmission infrastructure, including a landfall site, underground cable and a new onshore substation in Aberdeenshire will be required to transmit the clean power generated to homes and businesses.
These events will allow local communities to learn more and share their thoughts on the development’s plans. Events will be held from 12-7pm across four days in four locations:
• Buckie (Ace Winches Lounge, Victoria Park – 16 April)
• Wick (Mackays Hotel – 18 April)
• Banff (Banff Springs Hotel – 23 April)
• New Deer (Public Hall – 25 April)
A virtual consultation is also available to those unable to attend the events. Feedback can be provided at https://caledonia.virtual-engage.com/
